Structural:

Bamboo flooring is classified as either horizontal or vertical, according to the structure of the bamboo. 

Horizontal process:  under high hydraulic pressure, bamboo strips are glued together horizontally, laminated vertically three layers thick, then tongue and grooved.   Horizontal products have obvious nodes and a clear grain.  Vertical process:  bamboo strips are laminated directly along vertical ply.  Vertical products have obvious stripes and a close grain, which is more durable. Woven process: Strands are ripped, woven then compressed with adhesives under high pressure and temperature to achieve this unique style. This is what makes the woven the most durable and exotic look.
